Detailed Review Process

The Indian Journal for Law and Legal Research follow a Double-Blind Peer Review process, which means that both the reviewer’s and author’s identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.

Detailed Process:

1. Manuscripts received are assigned a manuscript code. (Eg. JNJLMS-00001)
2. After this, all the author’s details are removed from the manuscript.
3. The article is then sent to two of our reviewers. Thereafter, a few checks are conducted to ensure adherence to formatting, scope, plagiarism policies, and completeness.
4. The reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s quality, validity, originality, methodology, and significance.
5. After evaluating the articles, both the reviewers assign the manuscript a score out of 5.
6. The manuscripts that get a combined score of above 6 out of 10 are selected for final publication.
